Best Dressed of the Week

Every week, one of my routine habits is to check the Vogue website to see their best dressed list of the week. I find it fascinating to see who they think looked amazing. But unfortunately I have to disagree with some of their choices! Nonetheless, I've picked out a few of my personal favourites;

Scarlett Johansson wore this lovely nude dress by Stella McCartney to the Theatre World Awards in New York. I'm so jealous of her; she could wear a garbage bag as a dress and she'd still look gorgeous! I do think that the shoes and earrings are a bit too safe, they could have been a bit more daring.

And of course, Alexa Chung wasn't missing from this week's best dressed list. Dressed in Marc Jacobs, she went to the CFDA Awards in New York. This might be my favourite outfit of the week; this long dress with an embellished bow on the front is just perfect. The colour looks amazing on her, her accessories go perfectly with the outfit and her make-up is not too flashy. Alex Turner is definitely a lucky man!

Florence Welch did not disappoint this week at the Capital FM Summertime Ball in London. I love the daring Dolce and Gabbana dress, especially the lace part around her bust. But, I found the outfit quite predictable; I'd love to see her in a different colour, seeing that she's always wearing black and cream!

Finally, some colour! Victoria wore this gorgeous bright red dress when she arrived at Heathrow airport this week. Furthermore, I love those Louboutins; she can definitely pull them off and they elongate her legs. The lack of accessories put the focus on the dress, which I believe is definitely a good thing- nice and simple!

...And the outfit that didn't make the cut

Oh, Jennifer! She definitely tries, but she just can't pull it off! There's a lot of things I don't like about this Pucci dress; its' too shiny, too glittery and not very flattering at all! I do like her hair though, very simple and not too over-the-top.
