I recommend subscribing to the ASOS newsletter, because every month you get sent so many great ideas on how to combine different pieces of clothing. This month I got a newsletter which had such a cute sailor-style outfit. I love the fact that you don't have to buy every single piece of the outfit; you can do it yourself by combining a few basics! Just combine a t-shirt with a blue cardigan and a simple skirt, put a white belt over it and your look is complete.
