If I find one thing secretly seductive, it's peep-toe shoes (especially when worn with red painted toenails)! Therefore, I am more than happy that they have been spotted everywhere (especially during the London and NY Fashionweek). It doesn't matter if they have a massive heel or are flat boots; everything goes! If you're going for a smart or a casual look, these peep-toe boots can handle anything. Dress it up with a short dress or dress down with some skinny jeans and a simple top. I personally have fallen head over heels for these kind of boots, but unfortunately do not have the funds to get myself a pair (damn you student life!). I got inspired by some celebrity outfits, and decided to search for them online (oh what would I do without my beloved internet). Here is my personal shortlist...
Items from top to bottom: Aldo, ASOS, Dune, Topshop
Celebrity inspiration
Rachel Bilson
Gwyneth Paltrow
Jessica Hart
Victoria Beckham
What do you think of the peep-toe boot? Will you be buying yourself one (and for those real lucky people: do you already own a pair)? Furthermore, which celebrity wore the peep-toe boot the best?
They are so pretty ! xxx
ReplyDeleteI love it. They are very pretty. The last one is my favorite.

Very cute! I love them, but I would feel weird wearing them even though I love how they look XD I'm not sure who did it best...hmmm...Gwen maybe? XD

ReplyDeletei love everyyy single pair.
ReplyDeleteesp die over rachel's.<3
Hmmm Gwyneth Paltrow's shoes are definitely a closet must.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, I have to be honest and say, full on peep toe boots look a little like hobo boots to me haha! You know, how the toe is always peeling up from the sole, in movies?
Maybe I'm just not fashion forward enough :-)
The second ones are divine! I love this trend, though I wasn't a fan at first. It grew on me!

I really like such shoes! But I don't have any like that because I'm not wearing heels so often. I don't like being taller than every boy around me haha : P and thanks for commenting my blog! I like yours :)
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that first pair you posted! And I think Rachel Bilson looks, so so so cute! I own only 1 pair of peep-toe boots, and they're from Forever21 and not very comfortable at all - I might have to invest in a better pair this winter!

i think its so very attractive, but so very nonfunctional..i've always been so confused by these! or i suppose, it could work, i mean, showing your socks is pretty trendy in heels right now :)
